PowerPump has a chat with your trainer built in. You can send text and short videos of your sets. It's the same feature your trainer uses to send you form-check clips.
Sending a video
- Open the chat with your trainer.
- Tap the video attachment icon.
- Pick a clip from your camera roll or record one on the spot.
- Send.
The upload runs in the background — you can keep chatting while it finishes. When your trainer opens the message, the video plays inside the app.
If the upload fails, the message shows "Upload failed." with a "Retry" button that tries the same clip again and a "Cancel" button to drop it.
The 90-day availability
Every chat video stays available for 90 days from when it was sent. After that, it is automatically deleted. Both you and your trainer see the availability date on each video message.
Text messages are never deleted; only the video file is removed after 90 days.
What happens after 90 days
Once a video has expired, the message stays visible with a "Video expired on [date]" placeholder. The message text and its context remain.
Being coached is free
Chatting with your trainer, sending and receiving videos, are all included on the free PowerPump plan. You don't need Base or Pro to use the chat.
