Exporting client data

Download a client's full history as a zip file.

You can download everything about a client — profile, programs, performed sessions, measurements, photos, questionnaire answers, and chat — as a single zip file.

When to use it

  • The client is leaving your practice and asks for their data.
  • You want an offline backup after a long coaching relationship.
  • You need to hand off the client to another trainer.

How to export

  1. Open the client and tap Export all data.
  2. Confirm.
  3. PTdash builds the zip in the browser and offers a download.

Large files (many photos, long chat with videos) take longer. A progress line tells you which section is being packaged.

What's in the zip

  • Profile — name, email, join date, coaching link.
  • Notes — the notes you kept on the client.
  • Programs — every program you sent, in full detail.
  • Performed sessions — every set the client logged, with weight, reps, and date. Two files: one row per session, and one row per set.
  • Measurements — weight, height, skinfolds, girths.
  • Photos — every progress photo the client uploaded.
  • Questionnaires — every check-in and every intake response.
  • Chat — the full conversation transcript. Chat videos that are still within the 90-day window are noted; expired videos are marked as unavailable.

File format

CSVs are UTF-8 with a BOM so Excel opens them cleanly. Programs and questionnaires are also in a machine-readable format for anyone who wants to process them.

What to do with it

Hand the zip to your client, or archive it yourself. Once the client's account is deleted, you can no longer generate a new export.
